Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)


Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a busy medical practice in the Buffalo University District. Hired applicant will work under the direction of our physician and must be ready to handle a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including clinical support for the patient, care coordination, performing clinical procedures within the scope of the license, and documenting clinical data of patients.


  • Minimum of 3 years experience
  • Current New York State Practical Nurse license
  • EMR experience (Medent preferred)
  • Knowledge/experience working in a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be empathetic and sensitive toward and able to work with our adult population
  • Ability to multitask and maintain a leadership role
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible and have a strong desire to contribute to the health and wellness of our patients.
  • Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Able to maintain the confidentiality of patient and practice information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and regulations.


  • Responsible for providing LPN level clinical services to all patients in the physician's office.
  • Duties include patient intake, telephone triage, prior authorizations. This is not inclusive of all expected duties.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist


A PT Medical Receptionist/Assistant is needed for a very busy Primary Care Practice in the University District of Buffalo. Position is available immediately. We are seeking an energetic, dedicated, self-starter who can operate the front desk as a receptionist for our medical office. You will work closely with our physician, patients, office staff and technology to deliver high quality patient care. Medical Office Assistant degree and prior experience within in a Patient Centered Medical Home preferred. Prior electronic health record utilization required. The ideal applicant will have experience working in a medical office, but all applications will be considered.

  • Creating a warm and friendly first and last impression for patients and their families

  • Checking insurance coverage eligibility, claim status check and collecting copays
  • Scanning, faxing and filing incoming faxes within EMR system
  • Assisting physician with the completion of disability forms, patient instructions, authorizations and entering orders
